How to Join
Membership is open to families whose children are home educated under an affidavit/unsworn declaration per the law or whose children not yet of compulsory school age. YHSA is a Christian Support Group and we will practice traditions in keeping with the Christian faith, including those as prescribed in the Nicene Creed. YHSA is a Christian organization that provides many opportunities for our home educating member families including events (dances, graduation, young entrepreneurs, etc.), small groups/clubs (choir, chess club, Envirothon, soccer, newspaper club), an enrichment co-op, resources to borrow (library and science equipment), support groups, seminars, and more.
