About

We are Splendor of Truth Catholic Home Educators (SOTCHE, pronounced SAH-chee), a group of homeschooling Catholic families spread across the Illinois–Wisconsin border, from Racine toward the Chicago suburbs. Our families and teaching styles all look a little different, and we embrace that diversity in curricula while supporting, learning from, and praying for one another. Our life together runs through the year — a mom-run enrichment co-op in Pleasant Prairie, monthly moms' meetings that open with the Rosary, a moms' book club, family Holy Hours, field trips, weekly summer park days, and saints'-day celebrations like the All Saints' Day party. All members adhere to the Magisterium and Catechism of the Catholic Church.
