Homeschool Louisiana is a statewide non-profit helping Louisiana families homeschool successfully since 1983. We represent local support groups and homeschool families statewide, aiming to make homeschooling possible for every family. We walk new families through registration with the Louisiana Department of Education, offer the two-week "Start Strong Louisiana" online course, and connect you to affiliated groups in your parish. We host the annual Louisiana Homeschool Conference each spring, Homeschool Day at the Capitol, and a Leadership Summit for group leaders. We also monitor legislation and advocate for parents' constitutional right to direct their children's education.
