    Course Requirements

    Requirements:
    3.5 units of Social Studies. Including 1 unit for a course in Government and Citizenship in either grade 11 or 12.

    Additional Context:
    For students entering grade 9 in the 2024-2025 school year or later, an Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or other rigorous course in Government and Citizenship—along with additional credits covering U.S. History, Geography, Government and Citizenship, World History, and Economics—may be used to fulfill this requirement, provided all Social Studies academic standards are met.
